There is a permanent exhibition of books published by ICB Professors, located in a dedicated area of the Library.

A highlight of this exhibition is a collection of translated versions of the book Basic Histology, written by professors Luiz Carlos Uchôa Junqueira and José Carneiro da Silva Filho. This book has been translated into over 16 languages, including Japanese, Korean, Serbo-Croatian, German, English, French, and Spanish.

Furniture, historical scientific materials and equipment

Through donations from retired ICB professors and the preservation of old equipment and materials used by the Library in past decades, we mantain a collection of furniture such as histological slides, cabinets, tables, typewriters, overhead projectors and materials used in laboratories in the early days of the biomedical sciences.
